The provision of the screen
.Is the screen an obstacle to our national and state progress? Before resolving this question, it is necessary to know one thing well, what is the screen really? Because apart from this we will not be able to fully understand the purpose, necessity and its advantages and disadvantages of the screen. Then we have to decide what kind of progress we want to make. Because without a clear decision in this regard, it will not be possible to understand exactly whether the screen is an obstacle or not.
Parda is a Bengali and Urdu translation of the Arabic word 'hijab'. In the verse of the Quran, Muslims, Allah Ta'ala Rasool Kareem. The word 'hijab' has been mentioned in it. Allaah has said that if you need to take anything from the women of the house, then ask for it from behind the hijab.
This instruction of the Qur'an is the beginning of the veil in the Islamic society. Then in this context as many other verses have been revealed, the sum of them has been called ‘hijab’ or provision of veil in Ahkam. The instructions have been given in detail in Surah Noor and Surah Ahzab. In all these verses it is said that women should live in their own homes with dignity and should not go out to show off their beauty like the girls of the age of ignorance.
If they need to go out of the house, they should cover their bodies with sheets (clothes) beforehand and not go out of the house wearing flashy ornaments. Even inside the house, they should differentiate between mahram men (with whom marriage is forbidden) and mahram men outside the house, and they should not go out in front of anyone except the servants and girls of the house wearing luxurious clothes.
Then the condition has been imposed on the mahram men to go out in front of them, that before they go out, they should cover their heads with the hem of the cloth and hide their satar. Similarly, men have been instructed to seek permission before visiting their mothers and sisters, so that they do not look at the private parts of their bodies at any moment.
We refer to all these instructions mentioned in the Qur'an as the veil. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained that the satar of women is the rest of the body except the face, the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. This satar should be covered in front of Moharram men even father, brother etc. Girls should not wear any fine clothes so that the private parts of their body can be seen from outside.
Moreover, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explicitly forbade them to sit or travel with anyone other than Muharram men.
Not only that, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade women to go out of the house even with perfume. He even set aside a separate place for women to pray with the Jamaat in the mosque. He never allowed men and women to pray together in the same room or in the same place.Even at the end of the prayer, the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions would allow the women to leave the mosque first, and the men would wait in their rooms until they had left the mosque completely.
If anyone has any doubts about all these provisions of the veil, then he can study Surah Noor and Surah Ahzab of the Qur'an and the pure and authentic books of Hadith. What we now call the veil has changed somewhat outwardly, but it was introduced into the Islamic society of Medina by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in terms of principles and underlying ideology The screen system remains the same. Of course, it is not my intention to shut your mouths in the name of Allah and His Messenger, but I am compelled to say for the sake of utmost honesty that the smoke which has now risen among us as an 'obstacle to the progress of the veil' is indicative of our two-faced and hypocritical attitude.
Because such a slogan is the name of expressing distrust against the order of Allah and His Messenger. This clearly means that Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) have obstructed our progress and progress by arranging the veil (Naujubillah).
In fact, if this belief is ingrained in our minds about the veil, then what right do we have to identify ourselves as Muslims? And why don't we disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger who have imposed such an oppressive system on us?
In fact, by avoiding these questions, no one will be able to prove that Allah and His Messenger did not give any instructions to the veil. Because a little while ago, I have proved conclusively by quoting from the Qur'an and Hadith that this is not a fabrication - rather it is a provision given by Allah and His Messenger.
If anyone is interested in knowing more about this subject, he can get knowledge directly from Quran-Hadith. And if anyone wants to question the authenticity of the hadith and has doubts about the provisions of the veil, he can remove his doubts from the Qur'an. This is so clearly and openly discussed in the Qur'an that it is not possible to conceal it in any way with the fence of falsehood.
